This partnership is set to revolutionize energy access for low-income households across California by leveraging state-funded incentive programs to install state-of-the-art battery storage systems at no cost to the families.

The Power of Partnership

The collaboration between Store Energy California and NeoVolta is driven by a shared vision of enhancing energy security and resilience for vulnerable communities. NeoVolta will supply its cutting-edge Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFe) batteries, known for their longevity and safety. Store Energy California will connect homeowners with approved installers and manage the entire process of applying for and utilizing state-funded incentive programs.

Targeting Those in Need

This initiative aims to reach approximately 1.3 million low-income homeowners in California, defined as those earning between 50% to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for their region. These families may qualify for various state assistance programs designed to support low-income households and ensure they have access to reliable energy solutions.

In 2023, every customer of Southern California Edison Electric Company experienced at least one power outage. This partnership directly addresses such issues by providing reliable power solutions that keep families safe and connected during outages.
